Before you call
What will the repair cost?
It depends on the fault, the parts and how long the truck is in a bay, so we don't quote a flat rate before we've looked. What we do promise is the order: we diagnose, we document what we found, and you get a written price. Nothing is opened up or ordered until you approve it.
How soon can you look at my truck?
Same-day whenever a bay is open — call early and we'll tell you honestly whether today is realistic. Shop hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Saturday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Sunday: Closed. We're a shop, not a roadside service, so the truck needs to come to us at 565 Anderson Dr Unit B.
My truck is in a 5 MPH derate. Can you clear it?
Yes. A derate is the engine protecting itself, so clearing the code without fixing the cause just starts the countdown again. We read the fault, repair what triggered it — usually emissions or DEF related — and then reset it. See derate resets.
Do you work on my engine?
We work on heavy-duty diesel across all makes: engine, transmission and differential, plus the electrical and emissions systems around them. If you're not sure, call with the engine and the fault code and we'll tell you before you drive over. See engine and drivetrain repair.
Do you do DOT inspections, and what if something fails?
Yes, on site. If something fails we show you the measurement it failed on and quote the repair, so you can decide whether to fix it here or take the report elsewhere. See DOT inspections.
