Terms and conditions

Effective date: September 27, 2026
These terms and conditions cover the use of truckclinic.com (the "Site"), operated by Truck Clinic Corp. ("Truck Clinic", "we"). They explain what you can do on the Site, how a quote request turns into repair work, and what we are and are not responsible for.
By using the Site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, call the shop instead of using the forms.
These terms govern the website. The repair work itself is governed by the written quote, work order or invoice you approve at the shop, and nothing on this page replaces that paperwork.
Who are you agreeing with?
Truck Clinic Corp. is a commercial truck repair shop at:
565 Anderson Dr Unit B, Romeoville, IL 60446, USA
The shop is in Romeoville, IL, just off I-55, and serves fleets and owner-operators across the Chicago metro. "You" means anyone who visits the Site or sends a form through it, whether for your own truck or on behalf of a fleet. If you submit a request for a company, you are confirming that you are allowed to.
What can you do on the Site?
- Read the service pages and the blog.
- Request a written quote or ask the shop a question through the quote and contact forms.
- Apply for a job through the hiring page.
You cannot buy anything on the Site. There is no checkout, no online payment and no account to create. Scheduling is not done through the website either; it happens by phone or email after someone at the shop has read your request.
How does a quote request turn into repair work?
- You send the form with the truck's symptoms, the fault code if you have one, and how urgent it is. A specific description ("5 mph derate with an aftertreatment code, sitting outside Joliet") makes the first call more useful than "check engine light".
- Someone at the shop contacts you. Sending a form is not a booking and does not hold a bay. A same-day slot depends on whether a bay is open when you call.
- You bring the truck to Romeoville. Truck Clinic is shop-based: no roadside assistance, no mobile service, no pickup or delivery. The truck has to arrive under its own power or by tow.
- You get a written quote. Nothing is opened and no parts are ordered until you approve it.
A quote is based on what we can see and what you have told us. If the truck's condition differs from what was described, or a teardown exposes something that could not be seen from outside, we will tell you before doing anything beyond the scope you approved.
What does the shop need from you when the truck comes in?
- An honest account of the problem and its history, including earlier repairs and any modifications or non-standard equipment; they change how the truck is diagnosed.
- A decision on the written quote. Work does not start until you approve it.
- Collection of the truck when the work is done, on the terms in the work order or invoice.
What are the rules for using the Site?
Use the Site for what it is for: learning about the shop and getting in touch. Do not:
- Send forms with false information or in someone else's name.
- Submit spam, sales pitches or bulk messages through the forms.
- Try to reach parts of the Site or the lead system that are not public.
- Interfere with the Site's operation or security, or use it to spread harmful code.
- Scrape or copy the Site's content for use on another site or in another business.
Who owns the content on the Site?
The text, photos, logo and layout of the Site belong to Truck Clinic or are used with permission. You may read and print pages for your own use and link to them. You may not republish the content, sell it or present it as your own.
Is the information on the Site advice about your truck?
No. The service pages and blog describe how heavy-duty systems fail and what a shop typically checks. They are general guidance. A fault code, a symptom or a maintenance interval described on the Site is not a diagnosis of your truck and does not replace an inspection.
Regulatory information, such as DOT inspection requirements or CARB rules, is summarized from the agencies that publish it, and the agency's current text controls if the two differ.
What outside services and links does the Site use?
Pages that show where the shop is embed a Google map, and the hiring page loads Google's advertising tag. Form submissions reach the shop through an outside lead-tracking system, email and Telegram; the privacy policy explains what that means for your information.
The Site also links to outside sources such as FMCSA and the EPA. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.
What are the limits on Truck Clinic's liability for the Site?
The Site is provided as is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that every page is free of errors, or that the general information on it fits your truck. To the fullest extent Illinois law allows, Truck Clinic, its owners and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses that come from using or relying on the Site, including a decision made on the strength of an article without having the truck inspected.
This section is about the website. Responsibility for repair work is set out in the work order or invoice for that job, and nothing here limits rights you have under Illinois law that cannot be limited by agreement.
What is your responsibility if you misuse the Site?
If your use of the Site breaks these terms or the law, you agree to cover Truck Clinic, its owners and employees for the claims, losses and reasonable costs that result.
Can these terms change?
Yes. If what the Site offers changes, for example if online scheduling is ever added, we will update these terms and the effective date at the top. Continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Which law applies to these terms?
These terms and your use of the Site are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA. Any dispute about the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Illinois. A dispute about a specific repair is governed by the work order or invoice for that job.
What if part of these terms cannot be enforced?
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms and the privacy policy together are the whole agreement between you and Truck Clinic about the Site. They do not replace the written quote, work order or invoice for any repair.
How do you contact Truck Clinic about these terms?
Call (815) 887-0212 during business hours, email truckclinicinfo@gmail.com, or send the contact form. If your question is about a specific repair, phone is fastest; have the unit number or the quote in hand.
